Rachell for Adair Village ~ Welcome!
Hello! Let me introduce myself; My name is Rachell Hoffman, and I am running to be your next mayor of Adair Village. I believe communities thrive when neighbors work together, local government is transparent, and decisions are made with integrity and fiscal responsibility. Four years ago, I chose to make Adair Village my home. Since then, I have focused on strengthening our community by volunteering with other neighbors, dedicated to bringing neighbors together, and creating opportunities for families.
My professional career has centered on financial management, strategic planning, operations, and public service. As Finance and Operations Manager for the Benton County Historical Society, I oversaw budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, contracts, facilities, and daily operations. My experience with the Oregon Department of Human Services, nonprofit organizations, and private business has prepared me to manage public resources responsibly, collaborate with diverse groups, and make thoughtful, accountable decisions.
I’ve never believed that communities become stronger because one person has all the answers. They become stronger because neighbors get involved, volunteer, listen to each other, and work together. That’s the kind of Mayor I hope to be—not someone who leads from the front alone, but someone who brings people together to build the community we all can be proud of.
